What is the best way to get in touch with you?

What is included in the all inclusive Adventure Excursion?
When you book the all inclusive Backcountry Adventure Excursion 4 day / 3 night tour; three meals a day are provided as well as accommodations at a local luxurious bed and breakfast. Pick up and drop off from Calgary Internationcal Airport. All travel to and from destinations is included as well as two 5 X 7 prints of you on your adventure that will be sent to you at a later date.
How long are your tours?
We offer day tours for each adventure and half day tours for some of our adventures. Our special is the 4 day / 3 night all inclusive Back country Adventure Excursion, however Rural Route Tours specialize in customizing your adventure so please contact us if you are interested in an alternative tour length for you or your family.
What do I need to bring?
Each adventure is slightly different depending on your particular tour booking, so items may slightly vary however when booking Rural Route Tours will provide you with a reccomendation list for your specific tour. It is a good idea to bring clothing suitable for the particular season you will be joining us. Sunglasses are always a good idea, as well as your camera or any other artistic equipment you may need or want. Hiking boots are recommended.
Do I need insurance?
Yes, insurance is a good idea. Please ensure that you have proper travel insurance if you are traveling to Canada from the U.S.A. or any another country. Standard travel insurance should be sufficient however consult your travel agent if you have any further questions.
What will I see and do?
Rural Route Tours specialize in customizing your adventure holiday. If you are interested in seeing Wild Horses we will customize your adventure around that goal. If however you are more interested in discovering Alberta's hidden waterfalls we will ensure you do see them. To make sure your tour meets your expectations upon inquiring or registering for a tour we will send you a question form for you to e-mail or fax back so we know exactly what you are looking for. Rural Route Tours wants to make sure you have the experience of a lifetime designed the way you want it to be.
What are your certifications?
The staff and operators of Rural Route Tours are certified in Standard First Aid and CPR level C as well as WHIMS. Heidi Overguard is a Photojournalist graduate from SAIT and a working professional photographer.
Where are you located?
We are located north of Sundre, Alberta about 1 hour and a half north west of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. When booking the 4 day / 3 night all inclusive Back Country Adventure Excursion transportation to and from Calgary International Airport is included. Transportation to and from Calgary to Rural Route Tours is not included for single day tours. Please contact us for more specific directions.
Where can I stay?
Rural Route Tours have a special rate with luxurious bed and breakfasts in the area and can arrange accommodation for you if you are interested, simply contact us. We would love to be of service to you.
