Relax and unwind while walking along the picturesque Red Deer & James Rivers' on the many natural trails throughout the property. Take the time to experience the world renowned fishing in the two rivers at your leisure or with a local guide. Riverpoint Campground and the ranch are home to many beautiful birds and wildlife.
Feeling particularly adventurous? Book a guided trip to Limestone Mountain and feel like your on the top of the world. Lie in a blooming mountain mountain meadow or gaze at the majestic wild horses found in the area.

White Tail Deer, Mule Deer, Elk, Moose, Black Bear, Grizzly Bear, Cougars, Wolves and Coyotes are all at home in the area. Seeing these amazing animals in their truly natural environment is what Rural Route Nature Tours strives to do for you.

In case the above hasn't caught your eye other favorite activities include bird watching, cross country skiing in the winter, hiking & exploring the country side as well as river fishing and much more. We pride ourselves on maintaining the natural habitat for the many animals that reside within our boundaries and feel that respecting the land is truly an important part of our operation.
Groups of 2-4 are preferred however Rural Route Tours will do its best to accommodate serious enquiries
and is excited to welcome school group tours to our farm and ranch.
